The Art Studio of the Center for the Arts (ASCA) has added a great new class for young adults: Modern Day Grafitti, Banksy, Street Art, and Public Installations. Read on for info. Ages: 5th-8th graders This class for 5th-8th graders will focus on the ever-changing and sometimes controversial world of grafitti and street art. In addition to studying grafitti artists, like Banksy, students will work with design concepts, drawing, stenciling, and spray painting to make their own artistic statements. All work will be either done in classroom or approved before it is carried out, and no vandalism will take place in this class. |
